Write for Us

Write for The Impactful Coaching Podcast

The Impactful Coaching Podcast started as a series of long-form conversations with coaches who were building real businesses: life coaches, executive coaches, speaker coaches, dating and relationship coaches, book-writing coaches and the entrepreneurs who hire them. Our readers and listeners are people who want practical thinking about coaching, leadership and personal growth, not motivational noise. If you have something useful to say to that audience, we would like you to write for us.

We accept guest posts from working coaches, consultants, founders and writers who know their subject first-hand. You do not need a large following. You need a clear idea, a point of view and the willingness to explain it properly.

What we publish

  • Coaching practice and business: finding a niche, pricing, filling a roster, client accountability and the day-to-day of running a coaching company.
  • Leadership and workplace culture: communication, managing stress and confidence, creativity at work, guiding professionals from mid-level to executive.
  • Personal development: self-confidence, forgiveness, courage, goal setting, work-life balance and habit change.
  • Entrepreneurship and marketing: solopreneur models, value pricing, public speaking, storytelling and building credibility.
  • Relationships and wellbeing: dating with intention, matchmaking, family life, long-term diet and lifestyle change, recovery and addiction support.
  • Professional and local service guides: our 2026 city roundups of coaches, advisers, clinicians and lawyers, where a contributor can add real local knowledge.

Guest posts and sponsored articles

We run two kinds of contributed content. A guest post is editorial you write for our readers because you have expertise to share. A sponsored post is a paid placement in which a brand, coach or agency commissions an article that promotes a product, service or programme. Both are welcome, and both are held to the same standard of usefulness.

Our link policy is simple. Every published article is permanent, indexed and carries dofollow editorial links to the author's site or to the sources cited. We do not remove articles after publication and we do not switch links to nofollow later. Sponsored posts are labelled as sponsored where disclosure is required, and any article containing a paid link is marked accordingly. Pricing for sponsored articles is available on request. Typical turnaround from acceptance to publication is three to five working days.

Guidelines

Before you submit an article, please read these contributor guidelines. They save everyone a round of emails.

  • Original work only. The article must not have been published elsewhere, including on your own blog or LinkedIn, and we check.
  • Minimum 800 words. Most of our best pieces land between 1,000 and 1,500 words. Write to the length the idea needs, not to a target.
  • One or two relevant links in the body are fine, provided they add something for the reader. Links to unrelated commercial pages will be cut.
  • We do not publish gambling, adult or pharmaceutical content, and we do not publish thinly disguised advertorials that offer the reader nothing.
  • Write as yourself. Case studies, client stories (anonymised) and lessons from your own practice are far more valuable than generic listicles.
  • An author bio of two or three sentences with one link is optional but recommended.
  • We edit for house style, clarity and length. Substantive changes are agreed with you before publication; small edits are not.
  • Send the draft as a Google Doc link or a plain Word file. Please do not paste HTML into the email.

How to pitch

Email [email protected] with the subject line "Guest post: [your topic]". Include a working title, two or three sentences on the angle and who it is for, and a line about you. If you are pitching a sponsored post, say so in the first line and tell us which brand or programme the article will feature so we can confirm fit and send pricing. If you already have a finished draft, attach it; complete drafts are reviewed faster than pitches.

We reply to every pitch that follows the guidelines, usually within two working days. If you do not hear back within a week, your email may have been caught by a filter, so feel free to send it again.

Whether you want to write for us as a contributor, submit an article you have already written, or place a sponsored post in front of an audience of coaches and coaching clients, the address is the same: [email protected].
